One Tree Planted per Room Night booked Directly through www.avilabeachhotel.com
WILLEMSTAD—In October 2019, the Avila Beach Hotel on Curacao initiated a cooperation with Eden Reforestation Projects to encourage sustainability in the region. The hotel will plant one tree in Haiti for each room night booked directly via Avila’s website. Trees are essential to ecosystems. Haiti is now one of the most deforested countries in the world. The hotel tries to give back to nature for our and future generations on this Caribbean island that earthquakes and hurricanes have regularly victimized.
What does this mean in terms of trees?
The Avila Beach Hotel consistently has high occupancy throughout the year, and many hotel bookings are directly reserved via the hotel’s website. On www.avilabeachhotel.com, we set the goal to contribute 10,000 trees yearly, so every time you book through our hotel booking engine, the Avila Beach Hotel will ensure that a tree is planted for every night you spend at this hotel.
